Boxwood Event Rentals was founded in September 2019 by husband and wife duo: Hector and Susan Diaz. The initial thought came to them while planning their own wedding and simultaneously remodeling their first home. With the last wall being painted (just two days before the wedding), they hurried down to Atlanta City Hall Rooftop for their “I do's”, followed by a lovely and intimate DIY backyard reception with family and close friends.
During their honeymoon in Greece, the vision for a design-forward, client-driven event rental, and design company became a goal. It was the perfect way to head into their 10th-year anniversary. With a successful remodeling business of his own and over 10 years of experience, Hector oversees the daily operations, and corporate accounts, and ensures all moving parts of a multi-faceted business are running smoothly. It’s not unusual to find him meticulously building an arbor, or 14ft up in the air on a scissor lift installing string lights. Susan, who holds a Bachelor's in Fashion Design from Savannah College of Arts and over 10 years of design experience, directs event styling and floral design. She uses her passion for design, color, flowers, and unexpected materials to best represent & highlight each client's vision for their event.
Their keen eye for sourcing, and a great team with attention to detail, make Boxwood Event Rentals the go-to vendor for memorable and trend-setting celebrations.
The motto is - Celebrate the Moment. The now! A wedding, a birthday party, a bridal or baby shower, a retirement party, a business launch, and everything in between. Because life is about the magic contained within the little moments, those instances we hold dearly, and relive in our minds over and over for the rest of our days.
